What
 Study shark biology, myth and conservation
 Learn about conservation in conjunction with indigenous communities
 Collect data for the Shark Foundation Data Base
 Learn about the cultural connection between sharks and the Fijian culture
 Cultural Immersion and village stay

Additional activities include
 Overnight village visit to the island of Beqa
 Overnight whitewater inflatable kayaking trip
 Lovo and kava ceremonies
 Learn the Meke dance and watch the firewalkers from Beqa
 Hiking and swimming under waterfalls

Credit Earned
 10+ hours of community service
 High school and/or three college academic credits through Lesley University
Academic Evaluation
 Two exams, data collection and synthesis, research project, journal and presentation
Experience required
 Scuba certification

Who
 Teens finishing grades 9-12, grouped into separate trips of 10-12 participants by age.
