The Travel Day
This is generally an easy day, even for the teen that has never traveled alone. We go to great lengths to make sure everything runs smoothly. Before program departure, you will receive a Travel Packet containing detailed travel day instructions and contact numbers. For Caribbean programs we place a Broadreach representative in the San Juan airport on program start day to assist with flight connections. For most other trips we typically have a representative helping participants in the “gateway” airports, either Miami, Houston, LAX or JFK. Of course on all programs, one of our staff members will welcome your teen as they arrive!

How to make your Travel Arrangements
We require all participants to use Beeline Travel to make their air travel plans. Beeline Travel handles our special group fares and helps us plan smooth and coordinated travel days. Often they can arrange for your teenager to travel with other Academic Treks students. Most importantly, having all our students go through one travel agency helps us stay informed of all schedule changes and find solutions to any travel day problems that may arise.

Beeline Travel is experienced in travel to our program destinations and frequently offers prices lower than published fares.  Planning ahead gives them time to get the best deals, so make your travel arrangements early! Note: Frequent flyer miles may not be used for most programs because participants travel together on pre-arranged discounted group airfares.
