How long we've been around

Academic Treks is the academic adventure division of Broadreach. Since 1992, Broadreach Summer Adventures has taken over 4500 participants on over 400 trips.

Staff
A fantastic group of experienced teachers and outdoor educators including environmental scientists, marine biologists and dive instructors who all share a passion for teaching and international travel. With two instructors on each trip, plus the in-country educators and guides, the student to staff ratio is very low. The primary academic instructors on each trip have a master’s degree or Ph.D. in their program's field of study.
